My monthly post (or The Vacation that Wasn't)

As usual, I've been meaning to post, but haven't, for whatever reason. But this will probably be a long one. Hopefully I can organize my thoughts.  (I'm trying to keep in all in past-tense, but I know I'll skip to present-tense at some point.  Sorry in advance).

In late August Brony had a bout of barfing.  Aaron got her out of the crib, and she was pretty much covered.  I held her, she threw up more (on me).  Aaron called advice and went to get an antiemetic.  I got pretty good at catching the vomit in a bucket.  The next day, she was completely fine.

In early September, Bronwyn had a sinus virus.  I took her to the doctor to have her ears checked before we flew.  She, Bertie and I got our flu shots.

September 7th we got up at 4am to get to our flight.  Maybe it was 3:30?  It was really early, either way.  The kids did very well with waking so early.  Aaron's dad gave us a ride to the airport, and we were on our way.  Security was fairly easy.  And Aaron hid his flying anxiety very well.  We flew from San Jose to Newark, so it was a L.O.N.G. flight.  But we had free tv, which helped.  Both kids did well.  I had Bron sleeping in the mei tai carrier off and on.  At one point, she got fussy, and was pointing at Aaron.  So I handed her to him.  About a minute later she threw up.  All over him.  So much barf, I have no idea where it all came from.  Then she felt better, and Aaron felt worse.  We cleaned up what we could, the flight attendant brought us paper towels. I changed Bronwyn.  But Aaron didn't have anything to change into. (Why would an adult need a change of clothes? we thought.  I didn't bring any in my carry on either). I think we were an hour from Newark at that point, so it wasn't too long before he could change.
We arrive in Newark.  We stopped in the first shop, and Aaron bought a "Newark, New Jersey" tee shirt, and went in the bathroom to clean up.  (We couldn't find any shorts, or pants). At some point, Bertie needed to pee, so I rush him to the bathroom.  The line in the women's was out the door.  The men's was much shorter. So I stood with him as long as I could before I couldn't see him.  He was fine, of course, but it (like many other things) made me nervous.  After we were sorted out, we needed to take a bus to the A terminal.  We decided we would get lunch once we got there.  They security checked our boarding passes before we got on. We rode.  I grouch that they should have a tram, or make it walk-able, because the bus is stupid and annoying.  We arrived in the A20-27 terminal, only to discover it is the world's smallest terminal.  We couldn't take the bus to another terminal, because our boarding passes said we were where we needed to be.  Aaron asked a security guard if we had options.  He said we could go to the other side of  security and get food, but we'd have to go back through, and the two hours we had might not have been enough time.  (Holy hell! How long are their security lines?!)  There was one sit down restaurant in our tiny terminal (along with a coffee shop, Auntie Anne's pretzels, and a book/stuff store).  We waited in line for the sit down place.  It was ok.  The food was over priced, of course.  We wait around for our plane.  The kids were both getting squirmy, but there wasn't much we could do.  We weren't going to let Bron crawl around on the airport floor.  And there wasn't anywhere Bertie could expel energy either. (But (I'm going to be judgy now) the lady sitting across from us didn't seem to have that issue.  Before we'd sat down, her boys (probably 5 and 2ish) had dumped popcorn all over, and the floor was littered with candy wrappers.  (Yes, the mess was their's as the kid was still eating the candy, and the popcorn bag was near their stuff). The 5 year old was loud, and running around, and touching everyone's stuff.  Both he and the younger boy would run out of the mom's eyesight (which would make me super anxious).  This continued the whole time we waited.  The mom was either on her phone, or looked like she couldn't be bother to care what her kids were up to).
We took the short flight from Newark to Richmond.  No issues.  And somehow, one of our suitcases arrived before the plane.
It is at this point we start to hear about hurricane Florance.  We are scheduled to stay at Myrtle Beach from 9 Sept-15 Sept.
September 8th I got up fairly early with the kids.  (It is a fairly unique situation when I stay with my mom.  Mom moved to back Virginia in 2001.  Sometime there after, she and the man next door (Glenn) fell in love.  She moved into his house, which means that my older sister has the whole house to herself (unless we're visiting.))  The kids and I went next door to hang out.  For some reason, Bertram was calling Glenn (aka Papa) Brett.  Brett is the man down the street from us.  I guess they look similar, but it was funny.  I went for a walk with my younger sister and mom, then we all went out to lunch.
While we were out , Aaron's parents had been trying to call us.  My FiL (Dennis) went to see the dogs around 7.  They went out, and laid back down.  He came back around 9, and found Zelda in the bathroom (which is odd, she didn't usually go in there), on the floor, unable to get up, and surrounded by poop.  Aaron's cousin (who lives across the street from us) had to carry Zelda to the car, because she's big, and fairly heavy.  They took her to the vet and made her comfortable.  But she still couldn't get up.  So the vet said to give her til 6pm and then we could decide.  (Our theory is that she went in the bathroom, and got stuck, unable to turn around (she couldn't ever back up well), and at that point panicked or slipped, and broke her back.
We tried to get on with our day in the mean time.  We debated back and forth about even going to Myrtle Beach, as it's a 6+ hour drive.  And varying points it looked like it would directly hit Myrtle Beach on Wednesday-ish (though, the forecast seemed to change hourly).  Rebecca called the hotel, they said they were open.  And if there was a mandatory evacuation mom would be refunded.  We decided to throw caution to the wind and see what happened.
We talked to the vet again in the evening, Zelda had no improvement, so we decided it was time.  It's hard to put your dog down, it's harder to do it from 3000 miles away.  Every time one of our animals has been put to sleep, I've been there to hold their paw.  Zelda had to do it alone, without a familiar face.  I also realized I didn't even say bye to her before we left on vacation.  I didn't think to ask the vet to hold on to her collar and tags, so they are gone too.  (I'm crying now.  I just feel like such a shitty dog parent.  We gave her so much, and she deserved better at the end).  She was about a month shy of her 13th birthday.  It's old for a Greyhound, and we'd had her since May of 2010.
September 9th  We got up and headed down to the beach.  Not too far from home there was a major semi-truck accident that shut down the whole South side on the freeway.  We were stuck waiting to be re-routed for a while.  Though, not as bad as Rebecca and Nate.  They were stuck behind the accident on the freeway.  The backup was about 2-miles long, with zero movement.  When we drove passed people were standing around outside of their cars.
The rest of the drive was uneventful.  We wrote down stated from license plate, and tried to find radio stations.  We had to make lots of stops for potty breaks, and because Bronwyn was done with being in the car.  I managed to squeeze myself between their carseats, and was able to nurse Brony while we drove.   Mom, Jessica, Rebecca and Nate all arrived around 4.  We got there closer to 6.  The room was supposed to be ready at 4, but it was probably 5:30 before it was actually ready.  So we didn't miss much.  We all got dinner, and later Aaron, the kids, Rebecca and I went to the pool.
We kept tabs on the hurricane.  At that point it wasn't likely to make land until Thursday evening or Friday morning.  We debated among ourselves when we should leave.  I voted for mid day on Wednesday (not that it mattered in the end).
September 10th Our one, and only day at the beach.  We headed out early-ish.  (It turns out it takes a lot to get two little kids to the beach: tons of sunscreen, toys, towels, shade tent etc).  Bertie had a blast.  And the water was so warm and wonderful. (Also the skies were completely clear).  Bronwyn didn't want to be in the ocean much.  Then wanted to eat sand.  So I took her to the pool.  (That little bit of time sitting on the shore was all the ocean/beach time I got).  Around noon the four of us came up to the room for lunch.  And Bron took a long nap. After that there wasn't time to go back to the beach before we needed to go to dinner.  Right before we left for dinner we got a call that an evacuation order had been issued, and we needed to leave the hotel by 11:30am Tuesday Sept 11th.
We drove to Broadway at the Beach (a shopping center, touristy place), to eat at Joe's Crab Shack.  We wanted to walk around after dinner, but now we had to go and repack everything.  We really wanted to go in the Kwik-E-Mart (a la The Simpsons), but it was all boarded up for the storm after we'd finished dinner.  We went back to the hotel.  Walked on the beach for a bit, and then started repacking and reloading the cars.  Then planned to get on the road by 7am, to beat the evacuation traffic.
September 11th The weather was calm, serene and beautiful as we left.  Not too far along on our drive Bronwyn started fussing.  So I squeezed into the back of the car again.  Then she threw up again.  Not a lot like on the plane, but definitely vomit, not spit up.  But after a little while she went to sleep.  We didn't hit ant traffic on the way back (despite the evacuation order).  It was a very long day, nonetheless.
The hurricane did make land somewhere between Thursday and Friday, but it hit North Carolina, not South.  I would periodically look at the different Myrtle Beach webcams, and most of the time the weather was either sunny or very mild rain, and there was no shortage of people walking around.  (Though, even if the beach was fine, the roads we'd need to take back through North Carolina were impassable.)
After Wednesday, we just had rain.  Lots of rain.  It was actually pretty neat to see so much rain.
Aaron went home on September 17th.  The weather was calling for thunderstorms.  In the afternoon, mom, the kids, and I went to Target.  On the way there Glenn called and said there was a tornado warning.  We didn't think too much of it because the sky was blue where we were, and Virginia doesn't really get many tornadoes.  When we got there, the sky started to get cloudy again, so we decided to hurry and get what we needed and head about home.  A couple minutes later, there was an announcement for a tornado warning in the area, and everyone needed to go to the middle/back on the store.  That was seriously the most anxiety filled, scary time on my life.  There wasn't a basement to go to, or anywhere like they say you should go.  I had a very nervous tummy, so I went to the front of the store to use the bathroom.  I could see the sky, the clouds were still white, which I took as a good sign.  I couldn't stop sweating.  I think we had to stay there for 45 minutes.  Once the warning expired we got our stuff and ran for it.  I've never wanted to leave Target to badly. We got back to the house, and I paced around anxiously until the next tornado warning expired.  Then I could finally calm down some.  It was awful.
The rest of the trip was (fortunately) uneventful.  I flew back with the kids last week.  No issues, just another long day.

Another pet blog

Zelda:
She was our first dog (as in neither of us had ever had a dog before).  We had wanted a greyhound for sometime, and where matched up with her.  She has lived with us for nearly 6 years.  Zelda is the sweetest dog.  She loves all people, and cats!  And she is an easy dog, she sleeps all day.  She has deep brown eyes with Egyptian-looking eyeliner.  She loves walks, holding hands, zoomies, sleeping on the couch and treats.  She will be 11 in October.  Her full name is Zelda Belle.  Aliases: Zelly Belly, Zoody, Zooby, Zelby, Zella, Noodles, Big Dog, Dogzilla, Belly, and Zoo.

Fiona:
Thinking all dogs were awesome, like Zelda, we got Fiona at a chihuahua sale, at the local shelter. She is not full chihuahua, but possibly has dachshund, or terrier as well. She tricked us, she acted very quiet and friendly.  Neither of these things have been true.  When she first came home, she peed on the floor a lot.  That, fortunately, has stopped.  But she barks all. the. time.  And she hates all dogs that aren't Zelda, and is not fond of many people either.  But she is a snuggly little idiot, and we love her.  The age estimate from the shelter puts her about the same age as Zelly.  She still acts like a much younger dog.  Her full name is Fiona Josephine.  Her aliases are: Yoie, Yoie Joey, and Small Dog,

Julius:
Juli is possibly the most handsome, and troublesome cat we've ever had.  He is friendly, and loves to be a lap cat.  But he also sprays whenever he is in the house, and after trying many things, he had to be an outside/garage cat.  Juli got along with our previous cat (Moss) but doesn't like any other cats.  He gets along with the dogs without any issues. He is a jerk, but we still love him.  He is likely about 7 years old.  Neither cat has a middle name.  Aliases: Juli, Jules, Juli-Booli, Julius-Boolius, and Juli-Cat.

Priya:
Priya has only been with us since January.  She is a shy cat, but likes snuggling once she knows you.  She is missing one of her rear feet, so she hops a bit.  Her name was Tinsley when we adopted her.  She doesn't like dogs, but likes hissing and swiping at them.  Priya has Bertie get along fairly well; she likes to sit by him in the big recliner.  She doesn't have many aliases: Pree, Pree-Cat.

The incident

A week ago we took the dogs on their nightly walk.  We went on one of our non-typical routes.  As we were walking down the sidewalk a grey pitbull charged out of a house, and straight towards the dogs.  It all happened so fast, I didn't even have time to think. (We carry pepper spray in our walk bag for that specific purpose, but didn't even have time to grab it).  I hoisted Yoie up by her lead, and the pitbull went straight to Zelda.  In a matter of 2 seconds, Zelda had several bites on her leg (one was muscle deep).

The friend of the dog owner had let the dog out into the front yard without a lead.  The owner (Regina) was not happy about this, of course.  Aaron called his mom to come pick up him and Zelda, and they went off to the emergency vet.  I walked Bertie and Yoie home.  Aaron had to leave her for a while, and pick her up around 1:30 am.  It was $400-something. When Fiona and I went to bed, I noticed that she was bleeding.  She had been bitten on her chest, but it didn't look too bad, so I decided to take her to our normal vet in the morning.

Zelda came home and looked alright.  When we got up, Fiona's bit was really, really swollen.  I took her to the vet.  She had a hematoma and needed a drain.  So I left her for the day, her bill was around $500.

Then on Wednesday we noticed that Zelda's stitches looked really bad, like she'd popped a stitch.  Thursday I took her to our vet, who told us that the emergency vet didn't fix her correctly and she had necrotic tissue in her wound.  So she needed a drain too.  Another $500.  Aaron is still in talks with the ER vet to reimburse us for their error.  The pitbull's owner paid $1000 for the first round of bills (but it it's right for her to have to pay for the vet's error).

In the meantime, my sister made a go fund me for Zelda and in a day we raised enough money to cover the bill, in case the ER vet doesn't pay.

Fiona had her drain out on Saturday.  She's looking a little better, and her appetite is coming back.  Zelda's leg is still looking bad.  She's suppose to have the drain out tomorrow, but we'll see that the vet says.

It's been a very stressful week.

This and That.

Bertram:
He had his first PT visit this morning.  The PT doesn't think he has any developmental delays.  But he has somewhat poor muscle tone (still within normal range).  So we have some things to work on with him, a lot of core exercises and helping him practice crawling on hands and knees.
He's been a bit fussy lately.  (Last night was terrible!  He woke up a lot).  He got his 5th tooth not long ago, so there may be more.  Also, Aaron and I have colds, so I assume Bertie isn't feeling great either.  But he's still eating well.  He had almost a whole banana (and some rice cake) for dinner.  He's tried pumpkin and prunes recently. He likes both.  Also, he had some teriyaki salmon when we were to dinner with Trish.  He liked it!  He didn't like salmon before, but maybe the sauce helped.
He's been waving a lot, it's really cute.
I talked to Janet about planning Bertie's birthday party.  Aaron and I (well, mainly me, because Aaron doesn't care about parties very much) were originally thinking about pizza and cake.  But Janet and I thought it might be fun to do something different,  We talked about having bagels and King Eggroll.  A very strange combination, but I think it could work.  But the party is just family, so it won't be too big.
Aaron:
Aaron is at a scout conference in San Luis Obispo now.  They have it every year.  It seems like it's been busy, but boring.  He'll be back sometime tomorrow.  He's been stressed with work.  Between end of year stuff, conference stuff, and the usual stuff, there is a lot going on.  There is a little more, but I'll go into it next time.
Me:
Depression has been mostly in check.  My group got cancelled this week: all of Kaiser mental help is on strike.  On Friday, I went to get my Humira, only to find the price changed from $15 to $481!  My drug plan changed a little bit, Humira used to be a "brand name" drug, and now is called a "specialty drug".  Yeesh.  I talked to my GI and he called in a cheaped (but all together less effective) medication.  I called my dad to see if he had any leftover Humira, and told him I was going to use the other drug until my new plan started.  He said he'd pay for it for me, because he's had a lot of issues with switching around medications.  It was important to him for me to stay on.  But I still felt like an asshole, taking the money.
I made a loaf of bread!  I've never made bread before (well, some challah that didn't work out).  It was pretty good too.  A little round rustic loaf.  I think I'll do it again, and maybe re-try challah.
I;d mostly sticking with exercise.  But I decided I needed to drop the Buzzfeed workout for now.  It was too much to try to do both.  I'd rather give my all to one, than do badly at both.  I missed today's though.  My tummy has been weird (non-crohns related).  I'll catch up either tomorrow or Thursday.
Work has been busy, I've been putting in extra hours again.  Our new office is really nice, though, I kind of miss being by myself.
Other:
Zelda hurt her leg last week.  She tripped over Fiona and messed up her carpels.  She's in a boot-splint.  She's hobbling around.
Both cats are outside cats now.  They can go in the garage, but that's it.

It's been two weeks again!

A lot has happened, lets see what I can remember.

Bertie had his first illness.  It started out as a cold.  And then drug on forever.  He had the cold for a week, and then got a fever on told of it.  And his snot changed from clear to green.  I called the advice nurse last Friday.  I assumed he had a virus.  They said to keep an eye on it and watch for breathing problems.  He was sick all weekend, so Aaron called the advice nurse on Sunday and made an appointment for Monday morning.   I took him in after I got done with work.  He weighs 17lbs now.  He's chunking up.  Bertie had bilateral ear infections and bronchiolitis.  So he got amox and an albuterol inhaler.  He loves the amox (Aaron and I both remember liking it too) and he doesn't mind the inhaler too much.  It looks like this:

He's feeling better now.  Today was the first day he seemed like himself.

Bertie has tried quite a few foods: Rice and oat cereals, carrots, squash, sweet potato, green beans, peas, mango, banana.  He also had a snow cone with no syrup (so, snow, basically). And a couple tiny bites of mashed potatoes. He likes everything except peas.  I made home made peas.  I just bought baby food peas a couple days ago, so we'll see if he likes those better.  Maybe the smoother texture will be better.

I've been sick for a little bit too.  We all had colds.  Plus I've been remarkably tired, more than usual.  Exercising has gone by the wayside.  But I was getting my steps in.  Until Sunday, when my fitbit died.  Like dead, died.  I tried charging it, resetting it.  Nothing.  So Aaron contacted the customer service, and I'm in the process of getting a replacement.  It's sad to have no clue how much I'm doing day to day.  I'm looking forward to cooler weather.  Then Bertram and I can go for a hike on Tuesdays and Thursday.  And maybe the other days after work too.  I really would like to start getting fit again.  I managed to get my wedding band back on, but then it was stuck.  I managed to get it off tonight.  I'm going to send Aaron to get them resized.  If my fingers slim down again, I'll wear one of those ring snugger thingies.  But it may be like my feet, they're not going to shrink.

I've been working on getting Aaron's costume together.  It's a secret though.  Bertie has a cat costume.  But I'm seeing if I can find him a monkey costume for cheap, since I have a banana costume.  I thought it would be cute.  If not, I'll either go as a cat too, or a prairie girl, since I already have it.

A few weeks ago, Aaron started teaching me to drive stick.  I feel like I'm started getting it.  But I haven't been able to practice since.

Zelda's 9th birthday was a couple days ago.  We had a tiny party.  I made a cake, Zelda and Yoie loved it.

Bertie was very excited for the party. (This was in the height of his illness)

Zelda loved the cake!

He got a balloon at Safeway today.  He loved it.

Holding his balloon, and eating a rice cracker. (Today was the first time he tried them)

A couple nights ago Bertie fell asleep while Aaron was reading.  We left him in our bed.

A little blah blah

I had a dream about baby Mojo last night.  He was born now, but was somehow full term.  He was a beautiful little baby with a head full of light hair (now Aaron and I have both dreamed that Mojo has light hair(we, of course, both have dark hair, so it's not too likely)).  He was a good baby too, he was quiet, and a really good nurser.  And I had lots of milk!  He spat up a lot.  And I was totally inept.  I had no clue what I was doing, but he was so good, and lovable.  Exciting.

Aaron has been sick since Sunday.  He got in to see the doctor today.  I guess he has something akin to bronchitis.  So he gets some antibiotics, and is probably not contagious anymore.  (Yay!)

Because he's been sick, I've been sleeping in our room, and he's in the guest bed.  Zelda sleeps with me (in her bed, on the floor), and Yoie starts with Aaron and ends up with me.  Aaron usually takes care of Zelda in the night.  In the winter, Zelda has to be tucked in.  And when she moves around and becomes uncovered she wakes up and starts whining.  Tuesday night she woke me up four times!  Plus waking up to have to pee, it was a restless night.  Last night, I got one of the king sized comforters, and covered her and tucked it in.  She only woke up twice.  So I got a better night's sleep.

We got two packages today, both were for me.  I had to peak in one, since I'm ordering stuff from different places too.  (Sorry Mom!  But I didn't open it).

It was so cold today!  My windshield was frozen for the second day in a row.  I'm not sure we got to 50 here (which is very cold for us).  When I went on my lunch walk (at 1:15) there were frozen edges on some puddles.  Crazy.

I had a couple work meetings today.  Everything went well, so I'm feeling a little less stressed.  And we did a little more planning for my maternity leave, and return.

They started removal of our neighbour's giant camphor tree today.  I'm glad this is happening.  It's been a big annoyance.  It drops leaves all year long (which clog our gutters).  It ruined our driveway, and would eventually mess up the foundation of our house.  The big stump is still there, it's going to be worked on tomorrow.

I really hate toilet paper commercials, especially the ones with the bears.  Eww, I don't need to hear about how strong your toilet paper is!  I mean, really.  How hard are you wiping your ass?  Yuck.

Thursday, November 14, 2013

I was going to see my dad after work today, but he said he was feeling well, and I could just rest.  But he requested I bring him a couple things when I come visit tomorrow.  Namely, baby food.  I went to my normal stores: Sprouts and Grocery Outlet.  Turns out, I don't really know where one buys baby food.  Sprouts had a few varieties, which were all organic, but pretty expensive.  I didn't mind that too much.  But My dad wanted meat baby food, and Sprouts only had two kinds.  I got a few of each of those.  I wasn't sure if Grocery Outlet would have any baby food.  They didn't have any, but I got a couple little pasta cups.  I may look at Target tomorrow, if I have time.  I assume they'll have baby food, but as it turns out, I really don't know.  Maybe you have to buy it at a special store?

We've been letting Zelda hop up and sit on the couch lately.  But now she's been inviting herself up, which isn't good.  So we've been keeping her off the couch, and she is unhappy about that.  And expresses it by whining, and sad looks.

The driveway got removed.  But now there is a huge pile of dirt in it, so we can't park there.  The tree is supposed come out some time between 11/20 and 12/5, and then the new driveway goes in shortly after that.  The end is supposedly in sight.

We think we've decided on a name for baby Mojo.  But we're not telling anyone, because when we had previously mentioned names we liked, we got a lot of negative reaction (mostly from Aaron's mom).  So we won't be telling anyone, until he's born.

I've been having crazy mood swings this week.  I'm not sure why the mood always swings to bad.  Why can't you be feeling ok, and all of a sudden be super happy?

Road-tripping (with Dogs)

Aaron is up in Sonora running the boy scout camp, all Summer.  It's about 120 miles away, or 3 hours, with no traffic or stops.

We (the dogs and I) have traveled up to see him twice now.

I made a lot of mistakes the first time we went.

  • We left at rush hour on a Friday.
  • I didn't take the girls for a walk first.
  • My Adderall wore off part way through.
We left right after I got home from work, and hit the road at 4:10.  We hit major traffic in Fremont.  Then, while we were stuck (the traffic was crawling a long), Zelda announced that she needed to go to the bathroom.  She started whining and didn't stop until I was able to pull off about 20 minutes later.  And then it took her a long time to find the perfect spot.  The whole excursion took up 20 minutes.  Then it took a long time to get back on the road.  By the time we'd been on the road for 2 hours, we'd only traveled 40 miles.  It was a long day.  We were stuck on 680 a long time, then on 580 for a long time too.

We stopped in Manteca for another potty break.  There wasn't any traffic after that, but I still had to stop a few more times for Zelda to pee more.  That was pretty annoying.  We didn't get to camp til after 10, so I 3 hour trip became a 5+ hour trip.

The first trip home was more or less the same.  Lots of stops, lots of whining.  It's all Zelda.  Fiona is a great travel dog.  She's quiet, and she stays in my lap the whole time.  Zelda whines, lays down, gets up (has jelly legs) whines, lays down and repeat (ad infinitum).  It's frustrating.  Anyway, the trip back took about 4 hours.

Last week we went up again, this time on July 3rd.  Still a bad travel day.  But this time, we didn't leave until 6:30, in hopes of missing most of the traffic.  Also, I got a sedative for Zelda.  We still got stuck in traffic, but not nearly as badly as the previous week.  The trip still took 4 hours.  But the sedative seemed to help some.

Today's trip home was much better.  Zelda slept most of the time, and we made the trip in 3.5 hours.

Zelda at a happier moment.

Fiona's standard riding pose.

Zelda sat in the from seat for about a minute while we were stopped.
